Pictures are taken on Sept. 23, 2003. During this time in southern Taiwan, the temperature is 25~33 degrees Celsius. The result of germination is 95% or above. Seeds that has been sowed has only been picked from their seed pods 15 days ago. Currently in Taiwan, pollination can be practiced in all four seasons.

1. Block 50% of the sunray that directly shines on the plant. Because blocking 50% sunray will create a better climate for the seeds to grow. However after germination they seem to thrive with warmth,
2. Within 10 days after planting the seed, the seeding material needs to be ample water. (before the Desert Rose sprout out its first two leafs, it is not afraid of water).
3. The seed should be laid horizontally into the basin. The best depth under the cultivating materials would be ? ~ 1 cm
4. For successful germination, half would go to the quality of the seed and the other half goes to how you water the your seeds with about 20~35 Celsius of sun light for the next 15 days(if the temperature is lower than 18 degrees Celsius it will not germinate as accordingly). Meaning keeping the soil moist and watering by spray (like you spray the detergent on your shirt when washing) not by a holes. If you are able to realize the key to this method, germinating would have a high of 90%.
Seeds:
I use hand pollinate, so it has
low possibility (20%-30%) to grow into pink adenium. Most of them have characters
of their parents.
The red, white and whit with red border adenium are more stable.
Although seed is not guaranteed to look exactly like the parent plant, some
will look exactly like the parent, while others may have only certain characteristics
in common with the parent. This is how new varieties are created.
It needs time and luck to produce the new kinds which are better than their
parents.
Basic Adenium obesum seeds: These are sold in
packets of 10 seeds each with a minimum order. Seeds are normally sent by Provisory
Special Post and a quarantine certificate is available. Seeds are shipped fresh
and will give a minimum of 75% germination (usually more); however, as is usual
in the seed trade, because germination conditions and numerous factors are outside
our control, no express guarantee is provided. We have never had any problems
so far. If you want to buy in large qty, it is better to have import licence.
If you only want to buy in small qty, I will apply for quarantine certificate
for you.
The Secrets of Having a 95% Adenium Sprouting....
1. The best environmental temperature for the
Desert Rose is from 20 to 35
Celsius Degrees.
2. Selecting freshly picked seeds or seeds that are picked within“three”months
time for sowing.
3. Before sowing the seeds, have it be put into water for at lease“two”to“four”
hours.If you are using a hose to water your seeds, you must soak the seeds for
two to four hours. But if you water your seeds by sprinkling ,you can first
sow
your seeds and then just sprinkle your seeds for 15 minutes.
4. For the
first week after sowing, please keep the medium(soil) wet for better
sprouting.
5. Once the seeds sprout into a two leaf period, decrease the wetness of the
medium(soil). Before watering, the surface of the medium needs to be dry.
6. It only takes two months for the seed to sprout and grow into a diameter
of
1~2 cm (whereas the temperature must be in the range of 22~35 Celsius degrees).
Therefore, I must note that I do not use fertilizers in my medium.
7. After the seed has sprouted, to fertilize would
require sprinkling, as to
having the leafs of the Adenium to absorb the fertilizers. Fertilizers used
as N,P,K, for every 4 or 5 days until the plant needs to change its pot to a
three inch pot.
8. The medium for the three inch basin would require fertilizers that are for
longer fertilizing. Meaning, around every ten days, the Adenium would need to
be fertilized

2004 The a Successful Artificial Pollination....
1.Pink: A pink flower reaching a 85% bloom.
2.White: A white flower reaching a 95% bloom

Notes: When you receive the seeds,
you must
soak them in the water for 2-4 hours before sowing in order to increase the
germination rate.
After sowing, you should keep the soil wet for three days until the sprouts
appear.
Please take care of the temperature,which will affect the germination rate directly.
Generally speaking,
the germination rate is between 75% to 95%.
The Adenium seeds I mail out to clients are all freshly picked.
When you sow our seeds under the climate of 20 Celcius to 35 Celsius degrees
I am able to guarantee you the seeds will be able to have a 90% and above of
growth. As for the seeds, all the seeds are picked from the pictures that are
on my website.
Especially, if you order the white, red and white petal with red curving Adeniums,
they will have a 90% similarity of the pictures you see on my website. But for
the
seeds to grow better than the pictures, is very less likely to happen. But if
you
really keep the seeds under the climate in which I have mentioned above, it
will have
a great chance in blooming as the pictures you see.As for the purple and striped
line seeds, the offsprings of the Adeniums,we haven't
been able to really keep track of its originalities, therefore, they are a bit
less
predictable. But I can assure you that the seeds my clients order are from the
Adeniums you see on the Website.
The steps to mail the grafts and seeds:
First, I will apply for the quarantine certificate(If
you buy less than 50 grafts Plant, quarantine certificate is free). Before
mailing them out, I will spray grafts Plant the insecticide and fungicide, and
then package them with quarantine certificate and invoice which values less
than USD 100. In normal, customers take 5-8 days to ship the order.If
you don't receive the order as the estimated day, they should cause by the different
rules of every custom department.You can use the number
on EMS to track the order and know where the order is.
If you got the information that your grafts Plant or seeds are be confiscated
because of some reasons, please ask the customs the reasons. I will improve
the shipping ways in order to make sure that every customer can receive the
order successfully. In other way, I will mail the grafrs plants or seeds to
you as soon as possible. Of course, you can also choose to refund the money.
I will mail out the grafts plants and seeds since four days when the auction
ended.

Packing: We pack international orders very carefully, keeping your regulations in mind. All plants are packed in strong cardboard boxes with clean advertising shattering paper as the pictures. All plants are individually labeled. Documentation: Provided the quarantine certificate requires additional declarations, this charge is $50.
Normally when post office come to your house
and they bring the parcel, if no one was home in three days. Then they also
leave a message in your mailbox telling you that they tried to deliver it to
you.
please subjoin your phone number behind your address,
because it will help the postman contact with you if you are not home.
If buyer still not to receive the parcel then post office
will send them back to me.
According to our experience, the parcel will take more than one month to sent
back to me.
The plants' shape maybe not good looking, if buyer
is not care the shape, we still can send the same parcel to you.In order to
maintain our good qualities and credit, we will suggest buyer to replace new
one. However, we will charge you 30% replacement fee.
If the return problems' mistake by seller, we
will replace the new plants and not charge you the shipping fee again.
If the return problems is about receivers' problems,
we will charge the shipping fee to you.
When you receive our send parcel's information to you, you must notice the parcel
that you will receive in 5-8 days.
If you haven't received the parcel for some time,
I think, maybe, the parcel is in the post office because nobody signature. If
you have free time, could you go to post office and ask?
